For the why you would use it as in why does it do that or why is this important for you to know. For table of contents it’s basically just like a easy why to find everything in the book or short story. Add headings on paragraphs and when you do the photograph put captions under it. Add a diagram to help show percentages of how the subject is helpful. Bold faced words for emphasis or to help show the importance of that specific sentence or word.
