Answer:

y = 2x - 3

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given the slope, m = 2

Our standard formula of a line is y = mx + b, so we can substitute for the x and y values of the point (3, 3). If you did not know, the x-value and the y-value are both 3 because the point (3, 3) = (x, y).

So, our equation looks like this:

3 = (2)(3) + b

We can solve for b:

3 = 6 + b

b = -3

And now we have our equation of a line:

y = 2x - 3

Fraction of the shape shaded on these two shapes??
xxTIMURxx [149]
The one of the left isn't too tricky, in the bottom left of it you have 1/2 of 1/4 of the shape, and on the bottom right you have 1/4 of 1/4. Imagine the whole shape was cut up like that bottom right bit into 16 triangles, then you would have three of them shaded (see my diagram).

The one on the right seems like guesswork to me, so I'm sorry if I'm wrong. It look like you just have to use your eyes to work out how much of the bottom half of the shape is shaded: looks like 1/16 to me (i.e. you can draw four of those along and four down, again, see my diagram.) So plus the top half, which is 8/16, you get 9/16.

Answers: left picture: 3/16.

Find the area of this regular polygon round to nearest tenth
Bezzdna [24]

Answer:

A=163.9in^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's use the regular polygon area formula when given the radius.

A=\frac{(r^{2})(n)sin(\frac{360}{n})}{2}

r is radius

n is the number of sides

Let's plug in the proper values into this equation and simplify:

A=\frac{(7.74^{2})(7)sin(\frac{360}{7})}{2}

A=\frac{(59.9076)(7)(0.78183148)}{2}

A=\frac{327.86353299}{2}

A=163.93176649

(-2,9) and (-2,-5)<br> Slope:
Oliga [24]

Answer:

slope is undefined

Step-by-step explanation:

Calculate the slope m using the slope formula

m = \frac{y_{2}-y_{1}  }{x_{2}-x_{1}  }

with (x₁, y₁ ) = (- 2, 9 ) and (x₂, y₂ ) = (- 2, - 5 )

m = \frac{-5-9}{-2-(-2)} = \frac{-14}{-2+2} = \frac{-14}{0}

Since division by zero is undefined then the slope is undefined
