Answer:

The James-Lange theory of emotion.

Explanation:

According to the James-Lange theory, emotion is equivalent to the array of physiological arousal resulting due to external incidents. The two scientists indicated that for someone to feel emotion, he or she must first encounter with bodily responses like increased heart rate, increased respiration, or sweaty hands.

Once this physiological reaction is determined, then the individual can suggest that he or she is feeling the emotions. This is in contrast to the general common-sense way of thinking regarding the cause and effect association between the experience of emotion and its expression.

Darwin explained that all life came from ________________
AnnZ [28]

Answer:

one common ancestor

Explanation:

Although Darwin’s theory is often described as the theory of evolution by natural selection, most commentators recognize that common ancestry (the idea that all organisms now alive on earth and all present day fossils trace back to one or a few “original progenitors”) is an important part of the Darwinian picture.

A student wants to find out if the amount of bleach has an effect on stain removal.
Step2247 [10]

Answer:

The second option.

Explanation:

We're trying to test the amount of bleach that has an effect on the stain so that is the altered variable.

The 2nd option uses different amounts of bleach to clean the same amount of stain.

If you choose the other options, people can argue that the bigger stain would be harder to clean with one cup of bleach, whereas the small stain gets two cups or the other way around.

It's not an effective way to see if the amount of bleach has an effect on stain removal.

"if a bacterium cannot use citrate, what result will occur in citrate agar?"
Annette [7]

If a bacterium cannot use citrate agar will not change its color (stays green). On the other hand, if bacteria have the ability to use citrate, the medium will change its color from green to blue.

This happens because citrate agar contains pH indicator such as bromothymol blue which transforms from green to blue in alkaline conditions.
