Answer:

First, they both created pyramids, that were not related in their goal, but was very similar in their structure. For egyptians, it was a tomb to burry the kinds while for Mayan it was a worship place where they could pray for their Gods.

They also had hieroglyphs, that even thought they are very different in their reading way and structure, were written in stone (egyptians wrote on paper, too). But is interesting how two people living so far away in such a different time could create similar writing skills.
