Evaluate the extent to which the United States maintained Jefferson's vision for America (were "Jeffersonians" really Jeffersoni
N76 [4]
The United States adopted quite couple of Jefferson’s ideas.
One being his ideas on the Declaration of Independence; he felt it should be referenced and changed with every generation to keep up with the ever-changing needs of newer generations. This impacts our present day, and is why we have the Census every 10 years.
The second being The Ward System. The Ward System was created by Jefferson, and provided free school, the scholarship system, police, militia, and more. These are still implemented present day.

This is about the extent of my Jefferson history knowledge, hopefully this is enough to help you out!! (I am taking a Political Science class and learned this from it. All real information!)

Why was Dorothea Lange’s work important to president Roosevelt ?
Vitek1552 [10]

Answer: During the Great Depression, Dorothea Lange photographed the unemployed men who wandered the streets. Her photographs of migrant workers were often presented with captions featuring the words of the workers themselves. Lange’s first exhibition, held in 1934, established her reputation as a skilled documentary photographer. In 1940, she received the Guggenheim Fellowship. New Jersey-born portrait photographer Dorothea Lange worked for the FSA. She took many photographs of poverty-stricken families in squatter camps, but was best known for a series of photographs of Florence Owens Thompson, a 32-year-old mother living in a camp of stranded pea pickers.  Following America’s entrance into World War II, Lange was hired by the Office of War Information (OWI) to photograph the internment of Japanese Americans. In 1945, she was employed again by the OWI, this time to document the San Francisco conference that created the United Nations.

Compare the French model of direct rule with the British model of indirect rule. What are the relative advantages and disadvanta
andre [41]

Direct rule and indirect rule have their advantages and disadvantages.  Indirect rule should give colonies a sense of independence while direct rule gives supervision on what they should do.  Africans would have better opportunities under British rule because they educate people in their colonies. Still eventually people will want their freedom because they do want to be under someone else’s control.
