During the Suez Crisis President Dwight Eisenhower refused to support the Anglo-French action against Gamal Abdel Nasser in Egypt. Afterwards his Secretary of State, John Foster Dulles, became concerned about the growing influence of the Soviet Union in the Middle East.

In January 1957 made a speech in Congress where Eisenhower recommended the use of American forces to protect Middle East states against overt aggression from nations "controlled by international communism". He also urged the provision of economic aid to those countries with anti-communist governments. This new foreign policy became known as the Eisenhower Doctrine.

PLEASE HELPPP read the following passage from franklin Delano roosevelt's fireside chat 19, which roosevelt delivered via radio
Alona [7]

The structure of FDR's fireside chat is effective. This is evident from the similarities he is drawing between the actions of Japan and the actions of Germany. His goal in drawing these parallels is to show the American people that war is necessary to stop Japan from continuing their reign of terror. Along with this, the US must defend their honor after being attacked by Japan at Pearl Harbor.

Ultimately, FDR central idea that the Japanese need to be stopped before they continue to attack other innocent nations is well explained and uses multiple examples to show that this trend can continue unless America stops them.

Answer: For question 33, the answer is C, 34 is A

Explanation: 33: In 33, the silk road did lessen travel distances, and it connected all of china and india, not just china. 34 is A, because splitting power between the 3 branches was a way of making sure that not one branch was powerful enough to lead the country on its own, and that eliminated people trying to take supreme control
