The correct answer is no. Before Magellan arrived in the Philippines, visitors, traders, and colonizers as the Malayo-Polynesians arrived at the country and over the next 2000 years, they spread across the Philippines.

The Philippines were claimed for Spain in 1521 by Ferdinand Magellan, a Portuguese explorer sailing for Spain, who named the islands in honor to King Philip II of Spain.

If the Cuban government agreed to hold fair democratic
lions [1.4K]

Answer:

The United States would most likely lift the Embargo against Cuba and re-establish diplomatic/political ties with the nation.

Explanation:

Because the United States has had such a "bitter" relationship with the Cubans, for example the bay of pigs invasion and the Cuban Missile Crisis, we  essentially had cut all ties and trade relations with the island-nation. Recently, we have been trying to re-establish ties with the nation, but the embargo has yet to be lifted. However, if the Cuban government reformed and started to hold fair democratic elections then I would have no doubt in my mind that we would once again establish diplomatic ties and lift the embargo currently placed on Cuba.
