In a play, what will a critic primarily use to gain insight into characters and their motivations?
timama [110]

Answer:

The character's dialogue and how the actors portray them.

Explanation:

In any medium of storytelling, dialogue and character interaction is the primary window to any character's soul, but since plays have actors, critics can analyze the facial expressions, body language, and vocal quirks actors give to their characters that give even greater insight as to who the characters are.

Jim Anderson was working at customer support when he was DEPORTED from Mexico due to REPORT of criminal charges. He was abandoned from his home in Mexico as his wife does not believe he will ever get employed again because of his bad influence to society. As a result he spent his life outside of Mexico as a taxi driver earning loose change from customers. Later in his years, he was depressed so he planned to immigrate to the U.S. He decides to start fresh which means changing his last name to Jim Morgan. Weeks later, he got a job as a PORTABLE truck TRANSPORTER. The main basics of his job is to IMPORT and EXPORT goods that were coming in the U.S. and going out of the U.S. At each stop his truck lands to deliver the goods and the last stop was always home; goods that were bought by the U.S. Four years comes by, and Jim was recognized for his outstanding work as a truck transporter. Jim's PORTFOLIO grew as a nicer Jim and he was no longer the bad guy. In New Hampshire which Jim resided in, he had a room all to himself, he was alone yet proud that he accomplished something in life. Although he deared to see his wife again, he felt it was too much to ask for. However, out of the blue, his wife was preparing her flight to the U.S. to visit her husband for the first time in years. She paced quickly at the U.S. airport, waiting intensively to settle her luggage, when a PORTER- who is a luggage clerk said to her you don't have to worry your luggage is save with me, she rushed to the opening of her plane. She landed safely in the U.S. and the flight was successful. In the midst of the night Jim decides to stay up late and look up at the stars in his patio when suddenly he hears an unnerving sound. Jim felt uneasy, as he was about to go inside his home he was immediately TELEPORTED through time and space and at the end of it all, Jim lands on his feet and has no clear memory of what happened. His wife isn't real and he was never a criminal. hope this helps :)
