Find the Taylor series for
Basile [38]
The Taylor Series expansion of f(x) = sin(x) about a = π i given by
f(x)=\Sigma _{n=0}^{\infty} \,c_{n} (x-\pi)^{n}
where the c's are contants.

That is
f(x) = c₀ + c₁(x-π) +c (x-π)² + c₃ (x-π)³ + ...,
 ₂
The first few derivatives of f(x) are
f' = c₁
f'' = 2c₂ = 2! c₂
f''' = 3.2c₃ = 3! c₃
f⁽⁴⁾ = 4.3.2c₄ = 4! c₄
and so on.

The pattern indicates that
c_{n}= \frac{f^{n}(\pi)}{n!}

The derivatives of f(x) are
f' = cos(x)
f'' = -sin(x)
f''' = -cos(x)
f⁽⁴⁾ = sin(x(
and so on

The pattern indicates that
f⁽ⁿ⁾(x) = cos(x), n=1,5,9, ...,
         = -sin(x), n=2,6,10, ...,
         = -cos(x), n=3,7,11, ...,
         = sin(x), n=4,8,12, ...,

The radius of convergence is |x-π|<1 by the ratio test.

You have a summer job running errands for a local business. You earn 12.25 per day, plus $1.50 for each errand. Write and solve
Stella [2.4K]

Hello!

You have already earned 12.25 dollars. So now, you need to earn $31.75. If each errand is $1.50, you can divide $31.75 by $1.50. You would get roughly 21.17. Since you can not do 21 errands and .17 of an errand, you would need to do about 22 errands to get the money you need, which is the $31.75. 1.50 times 22 is equal to thirty-three, so youd be getting about a dollar and 25 cents more than what you need. We can had 33 (what we earn from our 22 errands) to 12.25, which is what we already have, and we get 45.25! So you can earn more money than you need to earn.

Hope this helps, have an awesome day!

Matt is the catcher for his schools baseball team. The catcher must be able to throw from home plate to the second base. What is
zubka84 [21]

Answer:

The distance from one base to the next is 90 ft. You can make a right triangle with two sides being 90 ft and the long side being the distance between home and second. Then you use the pythagorean theorem to find that distance.

90^2 + 90^2 = d^2

d = sqrt (16200) = 127.28 ft
