Answer:

Claim: Yes I think students should be allowed to have cellphones in the classroom.

It can help the children to be more focused and not having to be sneaking around looking at their phones as well as being able to listen to music which helps studying. A reason to do so is because of this quote below" Yes, music can create a mood. Study music, particularly, can be relaxing and help students beat anxiety or stress while studying. Background music is likely to help students improve their focus during long study sessions. Relaxing music for studying can help to ease nerves and help you beat pre-exam anxiety"

Another reason is a quote found in How to Deal with Cell Phones in School, "But phones aren't just tools for emergencies; they can also be valuable tools in the classroom. If there's a word or concept a student doesn't understand, the student can find information instantly. Phones have calculators as well as spelling and grammar checks."

PLEASE HELP, DUE TODAYA! After reading "The Outsiders" in its entirety, what do readers learn about the exposition and resolutio
KIM [24]

Answer:

The exposition of "The Outsiders" reveals the main character of the story, Ponyboy and his friend group 'Greasers' and his rival group 'Socs.'

In resolution, the readers come to know about the reality of the story. Ponyboy was writing his English assignment that his teacher gave.

The similarities between exposition and resolution is that the characters and setting are same as in the beginning and ending of the story.

Explanation:

The exposition of a story is the introduction in which the characters and settings are introduced.

In the exposition of the novel "The Outsiders" the characters and the setting is introduced. The narrator of the story is a boy named Ponyboy. In the exposition, readers are introduced to Ponyboy and his group of friends, and they call themselves 'Greasers.' The rival group of Greasers were also introduced, that is, 'Socs.'

The resolution is the ending of the story in which all conflicts are resolved.

In the resolution of the novel, not only the conflicts are resolved but the readers come to the light that the whole novel was nothing but Ponyboy's English assignment that his teacher gave him. In the resolution, when Ponyboy writes "When I stepped out into the bright sunlight from the darkness of the moviehouse" the readers can also imagine themselves coming out into the bright sunlight from the imagination of Ponyboy.

The similarities that both the exposition and the resolution shares is that the setting and the characters are same. In exposition the story began with Ponyboy waiting outside the moviehouse and in resolution also we see him in the same setting.

Select the correct answer. What opinion about Russian society does Leo Tolstoy express in this excerpt from The Death of Ivan Il
kkurt [141]

Answer:

D

Explanation:

Due to the unfavourable conditions peasants are exposed to, they easily grasp the harsh realities of life such as death. Also, in their community they learned to care for one another because they have one another's back, unlike the bourgeoisie/ educated elites who only care about themselves and keeping to their social levels. For such people around Ivan, his illness and impending death has become bothersome, and he realized the superficiality of that society.
