Yes because an isosceles triangle is a triangle with two sides that are the same instead of three.

Isosceles sounds like EYE-sceles and we have two eyes.

So to explain say "The triangle in the graph is an isosceles triangle that has two sides that are equal in size"

A full load for a small truck to haul is 2/3 ton of gravel. The truck is hauling 1/2 ton of gravel. Write a division sentence th
Romashka [77]

Answer:

The truck is hauling 3/4 of a full load

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

2/3 ton of gravel represent the 100% of a full load

Find out how much of a full load the truck is hauling with 1/2 ton of gravel, using proportion

Let

x ----> the percentage of a full load

\frac{(2/3)}{100\%}=\frac{(1/2)}{x}\\\\x=100\%(1/2)/(2/3)\\\\x=100\%(3/4)\\\\x=75\%

Convert to fraction number

75\%=\frac{75}{100}=\frac{3}{4}

therefore

The truck is hauling 3/4 of a full load

PLS PLS HELP!!! I NEED THIS DONE PLS!!!

The domain and the range are 0 ≤ ∅ ≤ 2π and -1 ≤ cos(∅) ≤ 1, respectively.

<h3>The domain and the range</h3>

The domain is the set of input values i.e. the ∅ values.

On the table, we can see that the ∅ value is from 0 to 2π.

This means that the domain is 0 ≤ ∅ ≤ 2π

On the other hand, the range is the set of output values i.e. the cos(∅) values.

On the table, we can see that the cos(∅) value is from -1 to 1.

This means that the range is -1 ≤ cos(∅) ≤ 1

Hence, the domain and the range are 0 ≤ ∅ ≤ 2π and -1 ≤ cos(∅) ≤ 1, respectively.

Tim goes on a car journey.
Lesechka [4]

Answer:

1. Attached

2. 25 mph

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Tim travels first 15 minutes =\frac{1}{4} hour at average speed of 40 mph and passed

40\times \dfrac{1}{4}=10\ miles

2. Time stops for 25 minutes (distance traveled = 0 miles).

3. He then completes the journey at an average speed of 45 mph. The total journey time is 1 hour, then he was travelling at 45 mph for

60-15-25=20\ minutes=\dfrac{1}{3}\ hour

and covered

45\times \dfrac{1}{3}=15\ miles.

The distance-time graph for his journey is attached.

Find the average speed for the whole journey:

\text{Average speed}=\dfrac{\text{Total distance}}{\text{Total time}}=\dfrac{10+15}{1}=25\ mph
