Answer:

We have been given a function and its graph.

y=4 sin(3t)+2

The first point  should be midline  of the given function

We can see the coordinate of the midline which  is (-3.14,2) will be the first point.

And second point should be maximum or minimum.

So, there is minimum according to the graph.

The minimum point will be at when sin3t=-1

3t=sin^{-1}(-1)

\Rightarrow 3t=-sin^{-1}(1)

\Rightarrow 3t=-\frac{\pi}{2}

\Rightarrow t=-\frac{\pi}{6}

\frac{\pi}{6}=-\frac{1.57}{3}

So, the minimum point is:(-\frac{1.57}{3},-2)

8(s+3)=72 i need help it is due tomorrow
Montano1993 [528]

Answer:

s = 6

Step-by-step explanation:

8(s+3) = 72

Expand the brackets out:

(8 x s) + (8 x 3) = 72

8s + 24 = 72

Now you get rid of 24 on the left, by taking away 24. But you also have to do the same on the right side so that both sides are equal:

8s + 24 = 72

left(-24) = right (-24)

So that leaves you with:

8s = 48

Now divide both sides by 8 to make them equal and to get s on its own:

8s = 72

left(/8) = right (/8)

Therfore:

s = 6

One cases of books weight 35 pounds.One case of magazines weights 23 pounds.A book store wants to ship 72 cases of books and 94
schepotkina [342]
I'm sorry but it's bugging me that you aid 'one cases', you can't have the plural of something that is strictly singular.

Now: for your answer.
72*35=2520
94*23=2162
2520+2162=4682

The total wight is 4682 pounds.

Hope this helps

Suppose the number of births that occur in a hospital can be assumed to have a Poisson distribution with parameter = the average
arsen [322]

Answer:

0.5372

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that the number of births that occur in a hospital can be assumed to have a Poisson distribution with parameter = the average birth rate of 1.8 births per hour.

Let X be the no of births in the hospital per hour

X is Poisson

with mean = 1.8

the probability of observing at least two births in a given hour at the hospital

= P(X\geq 2)\\= 1-F(1)\\= 1-0.4628\\= 0.5372

the probability of observing at least two births in a given hour at the hospital = 0.5372
