Find a function ω(x) such that the function f(x) = sin(ω(x)) has the roots at π, π2
atroni [7]

So, I came up with something like this. I didn't find the final equation algebraically, but simply "figured it out". And I'm not sure how much "correct" this solution is, but it seems to work.

f(x)=\sin(\omega(x))\\\\f(\pi^n)=\sin(\omega(\pi^n))=0, n\in\mathbb{N}\\\\\\\sin x=0 \implies x=k\pi,k\in\mathbb{Z}\\\Downarrow\\\omega(\pi^n)=k\pi\\\\\boxed{\omega(x)=k\sqrt[\log_{\pi} x]{x},k\in\mathbb{Z}}

The equation is y=mx+b.
ycow [4]

Answer: both ways are acceptable

Step-by-step explanation: When writing equations of lines in this form,

we usually keep the "b" value or the constant term as a fraction.

However, if you prefer decimals, you can absolutely change

it to a decimal to visualize is better if you'd like, it's really your choice.

For example, if the equation of a line was y = -3/4x - 7/4, I could leave

it how it is or I could change the -7/4 to -1.75 giving me y = -3/4x - 1.75.
