First, you know that c and d add up to the same degree so you can solve that bottom triangle. A triangle adds up to 180 degrees and 40+40-180 is 100 which is our missing angle. The two other connecting sides are also equivalent to this new angle(100) which helps you solve the triangle to the right. You take the given angle of A(40) which is equivalent to b and add 100. After you would subtract the sum of the triangle which is 40. For your final answer you would take this new angle and add it to angle d to get your answer 80.

Graph the line with the equation above
Lerok [7]

Answer:

points (0,2) and (5,5)

Step-by-step explanation:

2 points define a line.

the line is in the equation format, y=mx+b

b is the y intercept; in this case, the y intercept is 2 (0,2).

Make your first point (0,2).

Now, use the slope. The slope is rise/run.

Starting from the point (0,2), move to the left five spaces. Then, move up 3 spaces. The second point in that case would be (5,5).

If you're confused, you could also substitute any number you want for x, like, for example, x=5.

y=3/5(5)+2

y=3+2

y=5.

(5,5)

also x=0 (to get the y intercept)

y=3/5(0)+2

y=2

(0,2)

For example, Let's say I am graphing a proportional relationship even If it doesn't go through origin and it is an equivalent ra
Lostsunrise [7]

A proportional relationship is described by the equation

... y = k·x

The point (x, y) = (0, 0) is always a solution to this equation.

_____

In short, if the relationship is proportional, its graph will go through the origin. If the graph does not go through the origin, the relationship is not proportional.

___

Note that this is true if the domain includes the origin. You can have y = kx for x > 10 and the graph will not go through the origin because the function is not defined there.

What are the co-vertices of the following graph?
Allushta [10]

Answer:

 (±1, -2)

Step-by-step explanation:

The co-vertices are the end points of the minor axis. The center is at (0, -2) and the minor axis is 2 units long, so the co-vertices are ...

 (-1, -2) and (1, -2)
