Wheels of Change:::<em>The central idea of the excerpt is how bicycle took America by storm in the 1880s and 1890s,more so it changed women's lives.</em>

Wheels of Change also analyzes bicycle culture of the era when it had huge impact on everyday life.In those days,it was common to meet celebrity cyclists of the day,learn cycling slang,read about cycling songs and magazines.You could see bicycles being used in  advertisements eg carpets,candy and baking flour etc.

She didn't want to be the receiver of memories because they made her very depressed and she felt empty so she asked to be released so she doesn't have to deal with more horrible memories, they made her feel alone and that there was so much sad times.
