Wheels of Change:::The central idea of the excerpt is how bicycle took America by storm in the 1880s and 1890s,more so it changed women's lives.

Wheels of Change also analyzes bicycle culture of the era when it had huge impact on everyday life.In those days,it was common to meet celebrity cyclists of the day, learn cycling slang, read about cycling songs and magazines. You could see bicycles being used in advertisements eg carpets, candy and baking flour etc.
