This question is about "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy

Answer:

The man's dream means a bad omen, which indicates that his situation may worsen in the future. This shows that man is very intuitive about everything that can happen.

Explanation:

The Road tells the story of a man and a boy who survived a disaster that devastated the whole world. The boy and the man walk looking for a place so they can survive and pass through terrible scenarios where there are thousands of decaying dead bodies, rubble, destroyed houses and lands completely decimated.

During history, man has several dreams about supernatural creatures and about his past. These dreams show that man is very intuitive, in addition, dreams are a bad omen and indicate that the future may be very bad.

lara31 [8.8K]

Answer:

Syntax affects writing since it allows you to write/speak with more clarity as you form your sentences. Some words flow better than others, so modifying syntax will help you get your point across to the reader in a more simple way. It will especially help you get points across with an established tone. This could be by using better wording or moving words around so that it's easier to read and understand.
