Answer:

side length each 5√2

Step-by-step explanation:

both legs have the same length, as the triangle is a 45 - 90 45

To find one side of the triangle us the cosine of an angle is equal to the ratio of the adjacent side to the hypotenuse.

cos(A)=adj/hyp

cos(A)=adj/10

adj=cos(A) * 10

adj = 5√2

The sum of twice a number and four times the number is 54. Find the number.
miv72 [106K]
Twice a number can be written as 2n.

Four times the number can be written as 4n.

If the sum of 2n and 4n equals 54, then:

6n = 54

Divide both sides by 6 to solve for n:

n = 9

Henry has 600 pokemon cards, he wants to sell them all for 100 dollars total, how much would it be for each pokemon card
LUCKY_DIMON [66]

Let's begin by listing out the information given to us:

number of cards = 600

Sale price = $100

Each pokemon card is worth:

\begin{gathered} \frac{\text{Sale Price}}{Number\text{ of cards}}=\frac{100}{600}=0.167 \\ =0.17=17cents \end{gathered}

Each pokemon cards would sell for 17 cents each

There is a strong positive linear correlation between rainfall and the number of peaches a tree produces. does this mean that mo
yulyashka [42]
A strong positive correlation means that as one variable increases so does the other and that they do so in a linear relationship. So what this means is that “as the rainfall increases, the number of peaches a tree produces increases.”

It does not mean that the rainfall causes the tree to produce more peaches. The correlation only establishes that the two variables are related in that one increases as the other does. It is NOT the case that this means for sure one causes the other. We cannot assume causality when using a correlation.

It might be that the rain causes more peaches to grown or it might be that some other factor or combination of factors causes the growth. We just do not know.
