Read this excerpt from Anne Frank Remembered. Determined not to let my knees tremble, I forced myself up the steps to the room w

here I had been directed. I knocked on the door. No one answered, so I opened it. As the door swung open, I saw a round table filled with high-ranking Nazis. Their caps were on the table, and in the middle of the table was a radio. The radio was playing an English broadcast. Right away, I recognized the BBC. All their eyes burned into me. I realized that I had accidentally witnessed them committing a crime of treason, for which the penalty was death. I knew they would do with me what they would, so I had nothing more to lose. "Who is in charge?" I asked. Why is this excerpt suspenseful? The radio is broadcasting war news. Miep is committing a crime. The Nazis recognize Miep. The outcome is uncertain.

Read Romeo’s soliloquy from Act II, scene ii of Romeo and Juliet.
AlexFokin [52]

Answer:

a) feelings for Juliet.

Explanation:

This soliloquy explains Romeo's sentiments towards Juliet. Romeo's passion for Rosaline is shown in the play's opening sonnet. After meeting Juliet, he forgets Rosaline and modifies his language. He's more straightforward and powerful. This soliloquy contrasts Romeo's fresh sentiments for Juliet with his less powerful affections for Rosaline. He has progressed from fake, sad love to real, powerful love.

Please help I will give brainliest!
Aleksandr [31]

Answer/Explanation:

When I was learning the piano I learnt how many scales there are and I learnt how to play a lot of pieces. I learnt this because I have always loved music and piano seemed like a good way to start a music hobby, this has been helpful in projects since I can just be in the background playing a soft melody while my team is presenting, therefore making it more enjoyable. That is my experience on playing the piano.

Hope this helps :)

Women in ancient Greece had few rights in common with male citizens. They were not allowed to vote, attend public assemblies, hold public office, own land, nor inherit, as men did. They couldn´t even become citizens.

Being faithful to their husbands was expected of women, despite men being allowed to have relationships outside of the marriage.
