Answer:

x = 20

Step-by-step explanation:

The 2 angles are vertical and congruent, thus

10x - 27 = 8x + 13 ( subtract 8x from both sides )

2x - 27 = 13 ( add 27 to both sides )

2x = 40 ( divide both sides by 2 )

x = 20

Answer:

(8x+13)=(10x-27) being vertically opposite triangles.

Now take the 8 to the next side and minus it by 10x which means 10x-8x, the answer is 2x

Then, do with 27 and 13 also and whatever the answer comes it will be divided by 2, so that is the value of x

Evaluate each logarithm. Do not use a calculator. Log (125)(1/25)
svetlana [45]

Answer:

-2/3

Step-by-step explanation:

Log125(1/25)=x

Raise each side to the base of 125

125^Log125(1/25)=125^x

1/25 = 125^x

Rewrite 25 as a power of 5  and 125 as a power of 5

1 / 5^2 = 5^3^x

The if power is in the denominator, we can bring it to the numerator by making it negative

5^-2 = 5^3^x

We know that a^b^c = a^(b*c)

5^-2 = 5^(3*x)

Since the bases are the same, the exponents are the same

-2 = 3x

Divide by 3

-2/3 = 3x/3

-2/3 =x

Can someone help me
worty [1.4K]

Answer:

B = 129

Step-by-step explanation:

Opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal (or congruent)

A and C are both 51.

All angles in a parallelogram equal 360

Take both the known angles and substract from 360, than divide by 2.

B = (360 - 51 - 51)/2

B = 129

If you know the 7x8=56 how can you use the Commutative Property of Multiplication to find the product of 8x7?
boyakko [2]

Answer:

The communicative property for multiplication states that the order of the multiplicands and can be swapped and the resulting product stays the same.

So

A * B = B * A

So if

7*8=56

then the commutative property says

8*7=56 as well since you can swap the order of the terms on the left and not change the result.

This property is true for addition and multiplication. It does not hold for subtraction or division.

Hope that makes sense and helps. (:

HELP!!!! PLEASE I NEED HELP!!!!
NNADVOKAT [17]

for the first one it is the second option because of one property of logarithms:

log(a)-log(b)=log\frac{a}{b}

for the second one using the same property we can say that we third option is correct and not the second one but we use one more property of the logarithm

loga(b)^x=xloga(b) the power of the logarithm becomes a fator and \sqrt[3]{x} is equal to x^{\frac{1}{3}}
