The Civil Rights Act accomplish when it ended public segregation. The Civil Rights Act of 1964, is a law that ends social discrimination, prohibiting the differentiation of workers based on race, color, religion, nationality, and gender.

The Civil Rights Act of 1946 is considered as one of the highest legislative achievements in resolving the issue of separation of civil rights. The Civil Rights Act was firstly projected by President John F. Kennedy, yet it was officially passed and signed into law by Lyndon B. Johnson, the successor of John F. Kennedy. The Civil Rights Act made Kennedy safe from the strong attacks done by the opposition members of the southern Congress. However, this law was in subsequent years, Congress strengthened the law by passing additional civil rights laws such as the 1965 Suffrage Act.

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 included several different accomplishments including:

1) Outlawing discrimination in the workplace- Thanks to this civil rights bills, businesses could no longer discriminate against someone just because of their race, gender, religion, sex, or national origin. This not only applied to people who were already employed, it also applied to individuals seeking work.

2) Ends segregation of public places- This law helped to ended segregation in public places like parks, restauraunts, water fountains, etc.
