Answer: 44ft^3

Step-by-step explanation:alright so ur gonna wanna split the boxes here, I recommend splitting it where there's a line between the small and big box. Now we got 2 boxes we already have all necessary measurements to find the volume of the large box so we do that one first

large box; 8×2×2= 32

now the small box if we look at the side of the big box we see its length is 2 so we just have to subtract 6-2 to find length of small box now we can solve.

small box; 3×2×2 = 12

now add 12+32= 44

Answer: 50

Step-by-step explanation:

Your first need to find the volume of each box separated. The bottom box has a length of 8ft., a width of 2ft., and a height of 2ft. Multiply all the dimensions to get a volume of 32ft. Now onto the top box. The length is 3 the width is also 2 and the height is 6 - 2 which is 3. Multiply all to get a volume of 18ft. Now add the two volumes. 18 + 32 = 50.

Let a=3/4 and b=1/5. If a*x=b, then what is x?
Anarel [89]

In general, any equation like ax=b (assuming a \neq 0) is solved by

x= \dfrac{b}{a}

So, in your case, the solution is

x = \dfrac{\frac{1}{5}}{\frac{3}{4}}

Dividing by a fraction means to multiply by the inverse of that fraction:

\dfrac{\frac{1}{5}}{\frac{3}{4}} = \dfrac{1}{5} \cdot \dfrac{4}{3} = \dfrac{4}{15}

23% males responded. Of all the femails respondents 43% drive to school. Of all the male respondents 28% ride the bus. P(both ma
adell [148]

Answer:

The Probability of both male and rides the bus is P(x , y) =  0.0644

Step-by-step explanation:

Given data

Males responded x = 0.23

The male respondents ride the bus y = 0.28

Probability of both male and rides the bus is given by

P(x , y) = x × y

Put the values of x & y in equation (1) we get

P(x , y) = 0.23 × 0.28

P(x , y) =  0.0644

Therefore the Probability of both male and rides the bus is P(x , y) =  0.0644

The cost in dollars of making x items is given by the function C(x)=10x+800.
Bogdan [553]

C(x) = 10x+500

A. C(O)=A 10.0+500. = 500.e

B. C(25) = 10.25+500 =750

C.c(x)=1500=10x+500
