Historians have argued that nineteenth-century Americans shared an ideal of "a good death": one in which the dying person demons

trated strong character, maintained hope of salvation through his final sufferings, and spoke meaningful last words to the loved ones gathered around. How do these authors, interpreting violent deaths that took place far from home, seek to preserve elements of a "good death"?

Answer:

In simple words, the authors glorify these deaths by relating them to the spiritual nature of the individuals. The individuals who do not feared their deaths and smiled on the face of it actually were seemed as the person of strong character. On those times there such individuals were very fascinated by the society.

1. What caused the population of Florida to grow?
ruslelena [56]
Hi there! Thanks for turning to Brainly for help! Don’t stress, I have the answer.

Florida’s population grew as the news of fertile land spread around, attracting new settlers. Many planters from places such as North and South Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia, has used their soil so much that it had completely worn out.

So, if these planters hear about the nice, healthy soil in Florida, what were they going to do?

Why, they were going to move there, of course!

Hope this helps you out!
