<u> John Calvin</u>
John Calvin (1509-64) was a firm advocated of predestination, he dealt with such concept in his famous book <em>Institutes of the Christian Religion</em>, published in 1559, that presented a systematic presentation of the Protestant position.
According to Calvin, predestination is God’s eternal decree in which he chose the individuals who will save and enjoy "eternal life" and the ones who are preordained to eternal condemnation. Regarding this decree, humans can't do anything about it, since it's God's only choice, who determined it even before the world was created.
