Answer:

When fossil fuels are burned, they release large amounts of carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas, into the air. Greenhouse gases trap heat in our atmosphere, causing global warming. Already the average global temperature has increased by 1C.

On Earth, human activities are changing the natural greenhouse. Over the last century the burning of fossil fuels like coal and oil has increased the concentration of atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2). This happens because the coal or oil burning process combines carbon with oxygen in the air to make CO2.

What will happen if more cattle were brought into the ecosystem
disa [49]
The last bit of your question, YES these domestic animals have a huge ecological importance! Especially if you released them into the wild.

When I first read the question, I wasn't so sure about this. I figured they would probably just wander around for a while, possibly a few months or years, and then die out little by little as they competed for food and fell to predators.

However, in the meantime they would likely eat everything, and then attract large numbers of predators, who would then have many babies.

5. If you were given an unfamiliar vegetable, how could you tell if it was a root or a stem, based on its external features and
ValentinkaMS [17]

Answer:

In roots, the vascular tissues, i.e., xylem and phloem, are found in the central vascular cylinder, while in stems these tissues are dispersed throughout the stem, generally arranged as a ring towards the outside of the stem (epidermis)

Explanation:

Vascular plants have two different transport tissues: xylem and phloem. The xylem transports water from roots to stems and leaves, while the phloem transports food (i.e. dissolved sugars) from the leaves to all parts of the plant. In roots, vascular tissues form a central core in order to withstand stretching forces. Moreover, in stems, vascular tissues are dispersed (generally concentrated towards the epidermis), in an arrangement that enables them to resist compression and bending forces.

Why each part of the cell cycle is important?
hoa [83]
The cell cycle is important because without it we wouldn’t get new cells for growth and repair. Humans would not survive without the cell cycle. Interphase has the cells carry out the functions that are needed to survive and the cells that divide prepare for reproduction. Mitosis has the cell’s nucleus divide. Cytokinesis is when the duplicated contents of mitosis are made into two daughter cells. Without these three things we would not be able to survive.
