Now, 24 hours... no sleep? ok, how many hours are there in 5 days? 24 * 5, that many hours.

now, you're walking at 2mph, or 2 miles per hour, so for 1 hour you walk 2 miles, so for (24 * 5) hours, you'd walk 2 * (24 * 5) miles then.

now, that's how many miles you walked on that week, for those 5 days, the other 2 days to stretch I gather.

now, how long.... in days? weeks? I assume is weeks, so, we know you're covering in 1 week (2*24 * 5) miles or 240 miles in a week, that's for those 5 days you walk only.

now, we know the earth has a diameter of 12800, now it doesn't say, clearly is likely miles, so, if the earth has a diameter of 12800, the radius is half that or 6,400 miles.

now, for a circle(earth) with a radius of 6400 miles, what's its circumference?

\bf \textit{circumference of a circle}\\\\
C=2\pi r\qquad \boxed{r=6400}\qquad C=2\pi (6400)\implies C=12800\pi

now, you're doing weekly 240 miles, and the earth is 12800π miles in circumference, how many times does 240 go into 12800π?

\bf \cfrac{12800\pi }{240}\implies \cfrac{160\pi }{3}\implies \stackrel{weeks}{53\frac{1 }{3}\pi }

anyhow, tis around 170.693200845 weeks.

So that would be the total bill divided by 4

How would I work this
Alex73 [517]
I can’t read the bottom half of the fraction so I will just assume it’s (a-b) to the power of 3.

So basically you have power of 4 and power of 3. so you can divide the top and bottom by (a-b) to the power of 3 so you would be left with a-b/1 = a-b

Final answer: a-b

denis-greek [22]

Answer: 3 3/4

Step-by-step explanation:

From the question, we are informed that Jerome use 3 1/4 gallons of gasoline while driving from school to his baseball game.

Assuming that he originally had 7 gallons in his car, the amount of gasoline he have left will be:

= 7 - 3 1/4

= 3 3/4 gallons
