Answer:

An issue I have strong beliefs about and my position and reasons to hold it and evidence for those reasons is explained below in detailed explanation.

Explanation:

The rational explanation for strong beliefs has to be a powerful testimony. All my opinions are established on powerful testimony because, in any other form, our society would be built on changing sand. I could not advocate assuming in different and something unable to describe why I believe it and select it.

1 Complete the reported speech. 8.1
Artemon [7]

Answer:

She said she<u> was wearing</u> her sister's jacket.

Explanation:

Reported speech involves shifting the tense back to the past. In that matter, the Present Continuous turns into Past Continuous in reported speech. Thus, in the sentence given, in direct speech, the verb <em>'m wearing</em> becomes <em>was wearing</em> in reported speech.

Apart from changes in verb tenses, other words such as pronouns, demonstratives and adverb phrases also change in reported speech. For example, <em>my sister</em> is reported as <em>her sister</em>.
