Is that 123 or 12 times 3

Answer:

82 + (12 + 3 + 4) -10 = 91

82 + (12 times 3 + 4) -10 = 156

82 + (12 divided by 3 + 4) -10 = 73.71

82 + (12 - (3+4)) -10 = 77

I wasn't sure what the space between the 12 and the 3 + 4 meant so I put the answers to what it could have possibly meant.

Bruno is a manager at a factory that makes in-line skates. The
SashulF [63]

Answer:

Slope- intercept form   y = 200 x + 500

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that the equation

       200x - y + 500 = 0

where   y, the number of pairs of skates the factory has in the warehouse, and x be the number of hours

The slope-intercept form

                y = m x +C

Given equation  200x - y + 500 = 0

                          200 x + 500 =y

                       y = 200 x + 500

Slope of the equation m = 200 and y-intercept 'C' = 500

In one lottery game, contestants pick five numbers from 1 through 23 and have to match all five for the big prize (in any order)
mihalych1998 [28]

The probability of matching three out of five numbers is 153/33649

<h3>How to determine the probability?</h3>

The numbers are given as:

1 to 23

There are five matching numbers

The  probability of getting a match is:

p = 5-k/n where k = 0, 1, 2

While the complement probability is

q = (n - 2)/n

Using the above formulas, the probability of getting from 5 is:

P = 5/23 * 4/22 * 3/21 * 18/20 * 17/19

Evaluate the product

P = 153/33649

Hence, the probability of matching three out of five numbers is 153/33649

Suppose the half-life of a material is 10 days. You have one 1 kg of the material today. How much of the material would you have
boyakko [2]

Answer:

0.50 kg of the material would be left after 10 days.

0.25 kg of the material would be left after 20 days.

Step-by-step explanation:

We have been given that the half-life of a material is 10 days. You have one 1 kg of the material today. We are asked to find the amount of material left after  10 days and 20 days, respectively.

We will use half life formula.

A=a\cdot(\frac{1}{2})^{\frac{t}{h}}, where,

A = Amount left after t units of time,

a = Initial amount,

t = Time,

h = Half-life.

A=1\text{ kg}\cdot(\frac{1}{2})^{\frac{10}{10}}

A=1\text{ kg}\cdot(\frac{1}{2})^{1}

A=1\text{ kg}\cdot\frac{1}{2}

A=0.5\text{ kg}

Therefore, amount of the material left after 10 days would be 0.5 kg.

A=1\text{ kg}\cdot(\frac{1}{2})^{\frac{20}{10}}

A=1\text{ kg}\cdot(\frac{1}{2})^{2}

A=1\text{ kg}\cdot\frac{1^2}{2^2}

A=1\text{ kg}\cdot\frac{1}{4}

A=0.25\text{ kg}

Therefore, amount of the material left after 20 days would be 0.25 kg.

A police car drives with a constant speed of 50 miles per hour. How long will it take to travel a distance of 175 miles?
Evgen [1.6K]

Answer:

It will take the police car 3.5 hours to travel a distance of 175 miles traveling at a rate of 50 miles/hour.

Step-by-step explanation:

If a car is traveling at a constant speed of 50 miles/hour and we wish to know how long it will take it to travel a distance of 175 miles, we will use this formula

d = r*t

Where d is the distance traveled in miles

r is the rate of speed in miles/ hour, and

t is the time in hours

d in this case is 175 miles and r is 50 miles/hour, plugging this in, we have

175 miles = (50 miles/hour) * t         Divide both sides by 50 miles/hour

Our miles unit will cancel out, leaving us with

3.5 hours = t
