Answer: After thinking about "hundreds and hundreds of boys living on the wrong sides of cities.", Ponyboy makes the decision to grab a pen and write about it. He did this after experiencing the passing of many kids due to poverty, and he realized the power that he had in his hands.

Explanation: Ponyboy is a character that experiences a big transformation throughout the story. He sees boys perishing all over the streets and realizes that someone needs to make noise and speak about it, so he decides to take a pen and write everything he witnessed; that way, people could perhaps understand a little bit more and raise awareness about the topic.

Help!!! Can someone please give me a example of perception vs reality that I can draw
Ivenika [448]
Sure! How about a cat standing in front of a mirror looking at its reflection. Instead of seeing its true reflection (reality), it sees itself as a great big lion (perception).

Hope I helped!

In your literary analysis, you should write using
vazorg [7]
D. third person voice and present tense verbs.
You use 3rd person because it is more formal. The teacher always says "don't use I!"
You use present tense to talk about the book because even though you as the writer already read the book, the person who is reading your analysis may not have read the book, so use present tense. For example, you should write, "The book states on page" instead of "The book stated on page"
