Why does one part of Earth experience summer while another part
Vedmedyk [2.9K]

Answer:

C. The combination of Earth's rotation and its revolution causes the

atmosphere to be unequally heated by the sun.

Explanation:

The Earth is on an axis so the northern and southern hemispheres are at different angles. I am in the US so right now we are just getting out of summer and into fall. The axis is slightly tilted away from the sun so we are getting less of the direct rays therefore heat from the sun. However, later in the year we will get lower temperatures and the days get shorter. In summer the northern hemisphere (where I am) will be tilted directly to the sun so we will get more heat but in the winter we will be tilted farther back getting colder temperatures.
