"Now I'm opening out like the largest telescope that ever was! Good-by, feet! Oh, my poor little feet, I wonder who will put on

your shoes and stockings for you now, dears? I shall be a great deal too far off to trouble myself about you." Just at this moment her head struck against the roof of the hall; in fact, she was now rather more than nine feet high, and she at once took up the little golden key and hurried off to the garden door. Poor Alice! It was as much as she could do, lying down on one side, to look through into the garden with one eye; but to get through was more hopeless than ever. She sat down and began to cry again. She went on shedding gallons of tears, until there was a large pool all 'round her and reaching half down the hall. Based on the details in this excerpt, which statement best reflects the theme? Change can be frustrating and awkward. Growing up is a smooth and natural process. Being shorter is preferable to being taller. Being open to new possibilities is important. Hurry

I feel like the excerpt mainly correlates with the theme of change being frustrating and awkward. In the excerpt it shows how Alice begins to question her changing body as she is growing and won’t be using the help of elders like her mother. Also, Alice begins to cry as she watched herself change into an adult as her life seems to be moving by so fast and all she wishes to do is continue the same activities she enjoyed as a child.

What motivates Odysseus to reveal his true name to the cyclops
lesya [120]

Answer:

Anger and pride is what motivates Odysseus to reveal his name and put his men in more danger. Odysseus wounded Cyclops, and he wanted him to know who the mortal man who shamed him so was. This is why he yelled his own name to him, so that everybody knows who put the giant to such shame.
