Answer:

Beauford Delaney was the connection between Marian Anderson and Georgia O'Keeffe.

Explanation:

Marian Anderson was a famous black singer, much appreciated during the Harlem revival and among the black population. She became very famous because of her talent and what she represented, being admired by Beauford Delaney, a very influential artist from Harlem who made several paintings of her, in a very expressive and artistic way. These paintings caught the attention of Georgia O'keeffe, another artist, who saw in Delaney's illustrations, something very promising and beautiful.

How many loved your moments of glad grace,
Lunna [17]

In this excerpt, Yeats is comparing the love a woman has received from many men, to that which she received from only one man (allegedly, the speaker). He argues that other men loved the woman when she was beautiful and graceful ("loved your moments of glad grace" and "loved your beauty"). However, only one man has loved her to the depths of her soul ("loved the pilgrim soul in you") and even when her beauty was fading and her face changing ("loved the sorrows of your changing face"). The love of this one man, therefore, is much deeper and much more real than that of any other one.

Answer:

Around 8:00 a.m. on December 7, 1941, the United States of America faced an attack on American soil for the first time in its history. Imperial Japan strategically planned and launched a swift attack on the state of Hawaii, located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Hawaii is our first line of defense against any Western attack from an Asian country. At the end of the nearly two-hour ordeal, our air and naval resources were severely crippled, leaving the United States unable to respond immediately. In this study, we will show the time many events leading up to this point, the actual attack, and give the results that will happen afterwards.

Making the world's Great Recession of 1930

The United States didn't finish decoding the final and final message until late morning on the 7th Time Eastern standard. The final message said cutting ties with the United States and preparing to declare war at 1 p.m. EST. A little late (11:30 a.m. EST) and after seeing its contents, General Marshall ordered immediate defensive positions in Hawaii when he realized the time zone difference between the mainland and the islands. Unfortunately, this fell on deaf ears due to complications from the atmosphere jamming radio communications, Washington had to send a commercial telegram that didn't arrive until long after the attack. In the early morning of December 7, 1941, Japanese naval forces under the command of Admiral Nagumo parked a squadron of six aircraft carriers undetected 230 nautical miles off the northern coast of the Hawaiian Islands. The fleet numbered about

23 aircraft with the final destination being Pearl Harbor. At 6 a.m., the first wave of 180 planes was launched into the sleeping bay of Hawaii. At 07:02, an army radar station detected the oncoming plane and reported to his directing officer that a squadron of B17s was coming from the west coast and canceled abandon the sight of the warlike forces. That is the first of many mistakes that will become apparent within an hour. Around 7:15 a.m., the Japanese fleet launched a second wave of planes with the same objective.
