Answer: I haven't actually read the book, so I'm not sure. It could be any of these. However, try to reread and look for some clues that will help lean you towards the answer. Personification would be adding human traits to some sort of object, metaphor is when you're saying one thing by saying another thing, and mood would be related to tone, which is all about word choice.
