All things considered, it is proven that having more laws doesn't fix a society. In fact, things start becoming comical when laws are created to enforce laws. Generally, the basis of a community or society should be personal freedom and volunteerism. In it, you should be able to reach many other basic conclusions on how a society should work. Should women have the same right as men? Absolutely, but the absolute same rights as well. The right to decide what one wants, to pursue that, not to pursue that, and so on. Equal rights and women's rights should not be anything different then the rights that everyone should have over themselves. No exception and no special cases.

Rome expected which of the following from their citizens? (choose more than one answer)
lina2011 [118]

Answer:

The answer is Thomas Hobbes. Thomas Hobbes believed that only a powerful government could protect society. He also advocated that when people became citizens of a government they entered a social contract with that government to avoid the chaos of the world or what he called the “state of nature”. It was Thomas Hobbes ideals that supported an absolute monarchy or government having absolute power. He would not have agreed with leaders being elected by citizens or the U.S. consitiution preventing an individual from having absolute power over the government.

Why was the Kansas territory called bleeding Kansas
Vladimir [108]
Kansas was called "bleeding Kansas' because when the territory was formed, the state got to choose whether it would be a "slave state" or a "free state", and so the people on both sides went around killing each other. The most famous person of this period was John brown, who violently killed at least 12 people because they supported Kansas becoming a slave state.
