Answer:

y=1/2x+5

Step-by-step explanation:

m is the slope so m is 1/2 and b is y-intercept and since the line passes through (2,6) and the line has a slope that means the y-intercept is (0,5).

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

So in y=mx+b form

m is slope

b is y intercept

y=1/2x+b

solve for the y intercept

and

Ur done

EDIT:

m is the slope

so m is 1/2

b is y-intercept

and since the line passes through (2,6) and the line has a slope of 1/2 that means the y-intercept is (0,5).

replace in equation.

y=1/2x+5

$3 for 6 bagels; $9 for 24 bagels.Determine if the rates or ratios are equivalent
Luba_88 [7]
No these are not equivelent.  24 is 4x6 so that would mean that you would have to pay $12 for those bagels and because 9 is not 3x4, 12 is making these two ratios not equivelent.

Plums are 6 for $1.50, and a sign by the apples that are 5 for $3.00. What is the total cost of buying 2 plums and 2 apples?
Doss [256]

Answer:

The answer is $1.70

Step-by-step explanation:

If 6 plums are $1.50 you would divide $1.50 by 6 to get the unit cost, $.25. Then you do the same thing for the apples. $3.00 divided by the 5 apples is $.60. Now you need to multiply both unit costs by 2 then add them together to get $1.70

(plums)  $1.50 / 6 = .25

(apples) $3.00 / 5 = .60

(plums)  .25 x 2 = .50

(apples) .60 x 2 = $1.20

$1.20 + .50 = $1.70

Hopefully I could help!!

Sum of x and it’s square is equal to y times z
ludmilkaskok [199]

The algebraic representation of the statement is x + x² - yz = 0

<h3>What are algebraic expressions?</h3>

Algebraic expressions brings the idea of creating or expressing numbers using letters or alphabets without specifying their actual values.

From the information given , we have that;

  • sum of x and it's square = x + x²
  • Equal to y × z

Now, let's equate the expressions;

x + x² = y × z

x + x ² = yz

Let's make into quadratic form

x + x² - yz = 0

Thus, the algebraic representation of the statement is x + x² - yz = 0
