What benefits did the reparation give the allies
Free_Kalibri [48]
Reparations, a levy on a defeated country forcing it to pay some of the war costs of the winning countries. Reparations were levied on the Central Powers after World War I to compensate the Allies for some of their war costs. They were meant to replace war indemnities which had been levied after earlier wars as a punitive measure as well as to compensate for economic losses. After World War II the Allies levied reparations principally on Germany, Italy, Japan, and Finland.

In the film, Forrest is a philanthropist and a war veteran, businessman, and college football player who bears witness to various significant occurrences in the 20th century. He exudes a compassionate, optimistic, and tenacious attitude in the face of countless setbacks and strives to help every person he meets despite his strong naivety. Throughout his life, he maintains a sincere love for his childhood friend Jennifer Curran, who eventually becomes his wife. How did the poor citizens of New York City respond to draft laws?
Andre45 [30]
The poor citizens of New York City responded to the draft laws by instigating riots that lasted for four days.

They were in vehement opposition to the military draft acts that allow men from wealthy families to pay a certain amount so avoid being called into service. Also, African-Americans are not considered to be American citizens; thus, they are exempted from being called into military service. Because of this, those who can't afford to pay are called to military service leaving their families to fend for themselves during a time of uncertainty and hardship.
