This is a very broad question. It really depends on how far back in history you go. The early years of civilization was a major time for the development of tools and instruments that were quite primitive to assist with the tasks of every day life and as the years progressed, the technology became move advanced which made the daily life of man much easier. There have also been various times of peace and life man have been simple for common folks but throughout history there has always been various times of fighting and strife

How and why did white southerners take away African Americans’ right to vote and adopt ""Jim Crow"" segregation laws at the end
NARA [144]

Answer:

White southerners sought to protect their privileged position by adopting the so-called "Jim Crow" laws.

Explanation:

The "Jim Crow" laws were a series of local and state laws that enforced racial segregation in all public facilities and spaces in the southern United States, from the end of the 19th century until they were ruled illegal by the Civil Rights Act of 1964. They were named so after a song and dance called "Jump Jim Crow", which was performed in blackface by white minstrel Thomas Rickface during the mid 19th century. He became famous for his performance, and "Jim Crow" came to be used as a derogative term for African-Americans.

With the end of the Civil War (1861-1865), slavery was declared illegal and all former slaves gained their freedom and rights as citizens of the United States. White southerners were angry after the defeat of the Confederacy, and they felt threatened by African-Americans, who represented a sizable minority in the southern states. White southerners sought to protect their privileged position by adopting the so-called "Jim Crow" laws. These laws segregated public spaces by establishing separate facilities for African-Americans, and limited their civil rights, like voting.

Which idea of Montesquieu influenced the US Constitution?
lilavasa [31]

Answer:

\boxed {\boxed {\sf A. \ Government \ power \ should \ be \ separated \ into \ three \ parts }}

Explanation:

Montesquieu was a French philosopher whose ideas influenced many governments, including the United States.

Montesquieu wrote a book called The Spirit of Law. In this book he recognized that excess power was not good, so he introduced an idea known as separation of power. This would separate the government into multiple branches, so that one person/group couldn't take over.

We see this in our US Constitution. There are three branchs: executive, judicial, and legislative. Each branch has different powers and can "check" the others.

The best answer choice is A: government power should be separated into three parts
