Last night I was dreaming about me winning a 100 grand lottery ticket on my payday. The 1st thing I did when I got the money is go on a shopping spree. While walking around the mall I saw this new store. I decided to walk in there and it was full of different foods. Mounts of chocolate, hot tamales, and many more. I wanted to see if they had my favorite Candy which is Twix. I asked the worker and they said it was in the back. So i and with them and there was captain crunch cereal!
Also I saw rolos!! I bought everything I wanted and told the worker how amazing the store was! They thanked me with a good bar! As I was walking out of the store my mom came in to my room and told me it’s time for school.

1. In the text, the author discusses how the history of slavery can still be felt today through African Americans' surnames. Do
Serjik [45]

Answer:

Culture in general, especially in music.

Explanation:

Through out all the American continent the popular music reflects the history of slavery; without slavery there wouldn´t have been Samba & Bossa Nova in Brazil, Candombe in Uruguay, Reggae in Jamaica, Calypso in Trinidad, Cuban music and everything ranging from blues, gospel, rhythm & blues, ragtime, jazz, cool jazz, classic jazz, bebop, cubop, latin jazz, rock, rap, soul, funk and probably even more styles in the U.S. They all were developed with the helping hand of the slaves.

Most obviously is this the case with the world´s most famous North American style: jazz
