Answer:

Power lines are everywhere. They carry electricity from power stations to our homes. Electrical energy comes from the movement of charged particles, such as electrons. This kind of energy is also referred to as electricity.

Electrical energy is very important because machines can change electricity into many other forms of energy. We use electrical energy to light and heat our homes, run our dishwashers and washing machines, cook our food, play our music, and more. Electrical energy can be converted into heat, light, sound, or mechanical energy. Electricity travels through conducting materials, such as wires and changes the electrical energy into other kinds of energy. For example:

· light energy when electrical energy causes the metal wire in a lightbulb to glow

· sound energy when electrical energy causes speakers in a radio to vibrate

sound

The part of the speaker that converts electrical into mechanical energy is frequently called the motor, or voice coil. The motor vibrates a diaphragm that in turn vibrates the air in immediate contact with it, producing a sound wave corresponding to the pattern of the original speech or music signal.

heat

A toaster draws electric current (electrical energy) from a wall outlet and converts these moving electric charges into heat (thermal energy) in the filaments that turn red hot to cook your toast. ... As electricity runs through the filaments in a space heater, the electrical energy is converted into heat (thermal energy).

light

Electrical energy conversion to light and heat. ... In the case of an electric bulb, the electrical energy is converted to light and heat. The amount of electrical energy put into a bulb = the amount of light energy (desirable form) plus the heat energy that comes out of the bulb (undesirable form).

Answer:

B. conflict perspective.

Explanation:

Karl Marx developed an important sociological framework called conflict theory according to which society remains in a state of conflict between the different groups as per their power relations. These groups compete for limited resources prevalent in the society. Although this Marxist theory was for the industrial society, now it is extended to the other groups and determine the power relations between them. As per the question, the struggle for self-expression by subordinate language minorities reflects the essence of conflict theory.

HELP ASAP REALLY DON'T UNDERSTAND
Rashid [163]
Well, I'm not sure if this will help, but I might be able to explain what it's asking. All it is asking is to research two generals in the revolutionary war, and to say how they preferred to attack the enemy. For example, some generals preferred to attack head on while others attacked secretly. Then, it asks for you to tell what their job was in the war. Were they a patriot or a red coat? Did they command part of the army in a major battle, or are perhaps more famous for providing help to troops before becoming a part of the army? If you need help on who to research, finding some pretty famous generals should work, as they will have the most information on them. Some that I found to be really interesting are Baron Von Steuben, Nathanael Greene, Charles Lee... that's just the patriots, and there's plenty more on both sides. I hope this helps!
