Answer: If I put a line over the number that means continued Ex: (23.333333..., 3.098888 or 56.77777...)

11. Mean 1 + 2 + 3+ 3+ 4+ 4+ 4+ 5+ 5 / 9 = 31/9 =26.5 .Median 4 Mode 4 Range 5 - 1 = 4. _

12. Mean 6.5 + 7.5 + 7.5 + 7.5+ 8 + 8.5 + 8.5 + 8.5 + 8.5 + 8.5 +9 = 88.5/11 =8.045

median 8.5 mode 8.5 range 9 - 6.5= 2.5

13. Mean 5.75 + 7.25 + 7.75 + 8 = 28.75/4 = 7.1875. median 7.25 + 7.75 = 15/2 = 7.5 range 8 - 5.75 = 2.25

14. Mean 5 + 5 + 6 + 6 + 6 + 7 + 7 + 7 + 7+ 7 = 63/10 = 6.3 median 6 + 7 = 13/2 = 6.5 . mode = 7 range 7 - 5 = 2. _

15. Mean 5 + 5 + 5 + 7+ 7+ 7+ 7 + 7+ 7+ 7/9 = 62/9 = 57.5 median 2 mode 2 range 7 - 5 = 2.

16. 1 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 3 + 5 + 5 + 5= 29/10 = 2.9 Median 2 mode 2 range 5 - 1 = 4.

17. 1 +2 + 3 + 5 + 6 + 6+ 6 + 8 + 13 + 19 = 69/10 = 6.9 median 6 mode 6 range 19 - 1 = 18. __

18. 1 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2+ 2 + 2 + 2 + 4 + 4 + 5 = 27/11 = 2.45 median 2 mode 2 range 4.

Step-by-step explanation:

Mean

Add up all the numbers, then divide by how many numbers there are. Ex: 2, 3, 4. 2 + 3 + 4 = 9. Since there is 3 numbers we divide. 9 divided by 3 equals 3 so 3 is your mean.

Median

Arrange your numbers from least to greatest.

Count how your numbers.

If you have a set of odd numbers, the number in the middle is your median. Ex: 2, 3, 6, 7, 1, . your median is 6.

Mean

If you have a set of even numbers use the 2 numbers in the middle then divide. Ex: 1, 5, 3, 8, 9, 2. The two numbers in the middle are 3 and 8 . 3 plus 8 equals 11. 11 divided by 2 is 5.5. the mean.

Mode

write the numbers from least to greatest. The number that shows the most is your mode. Ex. 4 , 6 ,7 ,3 ,1 3, 3, 3, 2 3, . The number that appears the most is 3. So 3 is the mode. If there is no number that appears more than all the others put NONE or N/A in the blank.

Range

To find the range put the subtract the greatest number and least number. Ex: 2, 4, 7, 1, 8. 1 , 2, 4, 7, 8. 8 mins 1 is 7 so 7 is the range.

The a
possible answers are 1/18
2/9
1/9
1/2
Harrizon [31]

Answer:

1/18

Step-by-step explanation:

The spinner has 6 sections.

There are 2 vowels, A and U.

There is only one section with a K.

p(event) = (number of desired outcomes)/(total number of outcomes)

p(vowel) = 2/6 = 1/3

p(k) = 1/6

Each spin is an event. The two events are independent, so the probability of the two events is the product of the individual probabilities.

p(vowel, then K) = p(vowel) * p(k)

p(vowel, then K) = 1/3 * 1/6 = 1/18

Can you ever use a calculator to determine if a number is rational or irrational
Tcecarenko [31]
By definition and according to Google:

"Irrational numbers cannot be represented as terminating or repeating decimals."

So the answer to your question would have to be 'no' as calculators were designed to give us approximate answers when dealing with irrational numbers.

It would be hard to guess whether a large number produced by a calculator is irrational or not given that fact that many rational numbers can be incredibly long.
