Answer:

a^2 + b^2 = c^2...a and b are the legs and c is the hypotenuse

90^2 + 120^2 = c^2

8100 + 14400 = c^2

22500 = c^2.....take the sq rt of both sides...this gets rid of the ^2

sq rt 22500 = c

150 = c

so side a = 90 ft, side b = 120 ft, and side c = 150 ft

this is called the pythagorean theorem and it only works on right triangles

Step-by-step explanation:

done sorry if im wrong

Answer:

  (a) no

  (b) no

Step-by-step explanation:

The two questions are asking essentially the same thing. There is nothing that indicates DC ≅ DB or that AC ≅ AB. One (both) of these conditions is (are) required for ΔBAC to be isosceles, so that AD is both a perpendicular bisector of BC and a bisector of angle BAC.

There is not enough information to answer either question affirmatively.

Simplify the trigonometric expression sin(4x)+2 sin(2x) using Double-Angle
drek231 [11]

Answer:

{ \bf{ =  \sin(4x)  + 2 \sin(2x) }} \\  = { \bf{2 \sin(2x) \cos(2x)   + 4 \sin(x)  \cos(x) }} \\  { \bf{ = 4 \sin(x) \cos(x) . ({ \cos }^{2}  x -  { \sin}^{2} }x) + 4 \sin(x) \cos(x)  }  \\  = { \bf{4 \sin(x) \cos(x)  ( { \cos }^{2}x -  { \sin }^{2}x + 1)  }} \\  = { \bf{4 \sin(x) \cos(x)  }(2 { \cos }^{2} x)} \\  = { \bf{8 \sin(x)  { \cos}^{3}x }}
