So number of cars is the independent quantity and cost is the dependent quantity .

And here, let, y represents the cost and let x represents the number of cars.

y= 10x

And when x=50 and 75, value of y is

y=10*50 , y=10*75

y= 500, y=750

And the range is $500 to $750 .
