n alternative method for examining the effects of fatty acids on blood flow would be to measure changes in blood pressure. If bl
Gennadij [26K]

Answer:

Capillaries

Explanation:

In the circulatory sytem, the blood flow depends greatly on the blood vessels. As the blood flows through a vessel, it exerts a force against the walls of that vessel, and the measure of that force per unit area is defined as the blood pressure.

Like every other fluid, blood tends to flow from a high pressure region to a low pressure one. This means that when the blood ejects directly from the heart, in first instance it flows through the arteries, wich are the vessels with the highest pressure, then this arteries split into arterioles, where a drop in pressure occurs due to the smaller diameter that these vessels have, which at the same times generates more resistance to the blood flow and therefore a decrease in velocity and pressure. Then the arterioles split into the capillaries, which are the tiniest of all the blood vessels, meaning that they have the smallest diameter, therefore, a drop in pressure and velocity occurs once again when the blood reaches the capillaries. This decrease in velocity is very important because it allows for the exchange of nutrients and waste products between the capillaries and the cells.

Ii) Explain briefly how these features contribute to the efficiency of photosynthesis?
Damm [24]

Answer:

(Didn't list features so might be wrong)

distance away from organism to energy source(sun)

the amount of carbon dioxide

the amount of water

the concentration of energy (example; if you were conducting a lab and you use light bulbs as a energy source, higher wattage would be better then lower wattage.)

all of these need to be proportion to each other if you have too much of one thing and not even of the other then the organism will not preform photosynthesis efficiently.

MAXImum [283]

The two organisms displayed what is known as co-evolution.

Co-evolution

It is the reciprocal changes that take place in organisms of different species based on how they interact with each other.

Since yucca flowers and yucca moth change in response to changes in either one of them, they are said to co-evolve.

Co-evolution is a process that takes place gradually, over a long period of time. Without co-evolving, one of the two interacting organisms suffers and may end up going extinct or find another way to adapt.
