Answer:

Yeah a triangle can have any measurements as long as it makes sense. Your not gonna put the mesurment 8 on the shortest side but the longest, and then the next longest will be 4, and then 3 as the shortest.

Step-by-step explanation:

You'd be lookin for a scalene triangle, Acute triangle, or obtuse triangle, (I'm not so sure about a right triangle, but you might be lookin at that too)

I hope this helps!!!!

Can someone answer these questions ? thank you
Naya [18.7K]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

12a)To rationalize the denominator, multiply the denominator and numerator by √5.

\frac{15}{\sqrt{5}}=\frac{15*\sqrt{5}}{\sqrt{5}*\sqrt{5}}\\\\=\frac{15\sqrt{5}}{5}\\\\=3\sqrt{5}

b) (a+b)² = a² + 2ab + b²

(1 +√3)² = 1² + 2*1*√3 + (√3)²

= 1 + 2√3 + 3

= 4 + 2√3

a = 4 ; b =2

13) (a + b)(a - b) = a² - b²

\frac{(6-\sqrt{5})(6+\sqrt{5})}{\sqrt{31}}=\frac{6^{2}-(\sqrt{5})^{2}}{\sqrt{31}}\\\\ =\frac{36-5}{\sqrt{31}}\\\\=\frac{31}{\sqrt{31}}\\\\=\frac{31*\sqrt{31}}{\sqrt{31}*\sqrt{31}}\\\\=\frac{31\sqrt{31}}{31}\\\\=\sqrt{31}

Mike age is 3 less then twice the age of his brother nuke.
M = Mike's age now
N = Nuke's age now
M = 2N - 3

Ten years ago, four times nuke's age was one more mike's age.
M-10 = Mike's age 10 years ago
N-10 = Muke's age 10 years ago
4(N - 10) = 1 + M -10

what are their present ages

find M and N

substitute M = 2N - 3 into 4(N - 10) = 1 + M -10:

4(N - 10) = 1 + [2N - 3] - 10
4N - 40 = 2N - 12
2N = 28
N = 14

M = 2(14) - 3 = 28 - 3 = 25

Mike is 25 and Nuke is 14.

check:
4(14 - 10) = 4(4) = 16 = 26 -10 = 1 + 25 - 10

The answer is 3/7 (Three over seven). You ADD the number of total possibilities (animal characters + human characters = 7 total characters) for the denominator and put in the number (or section) you're looking at as the numerator
