Answer: Option 'C' is correct.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

Let the principal amount be 'x'.

First rate of interest = 2%

Second rate of interest = 4%

Number of years = 1

Amount of interest he earned = $92

According to question,

\dfrac{x\times 2}{100}+\dfrac{(x+800)\times 4}{100}=92\\\\\dfrac{2}{100}(x+2(x+800))=92\\\\x+2x+1600=\dfrac{92\times 100}{2}\\\\3x+1600=4600\\\\3x=4600-1600\\\\3x=3000\\\\x=\dfrac{3000}{x}\\\\x=\$1000

So, First investment of $1000 at 2% and Second investment of $1000+$800=$1800 at 4%.

Hence, Option 'C' is correct.

X the first account  interest = x/100*2 = 2x/100
(x + 800)/100 * 4 =( 4x + 3200)/100
2x/100 + (4x + 3200)/100 = 92
2x + 4x + 3200 = 9200
6x = 6000
x = 1000
C is the answer

1. S= squash
Z= zucchini

5s + 2z = 1.32
3s + 1z = 0.75. -2 ( 3s + 1z = 0.75)

5s + 2z = 1.32
-6s - 2z = -1.50
-s = -0.12

Squash = 0.12

5s + 2z = 1.32
5(.12) + 2z = 1.32
.60 + 2z = 1.32
2z = 1.32-.60
2z/2 =.72/2
Z= 0.36

HELP ASAP!!! DUE SOON!!! <br> Linear,exponential, or neither?
malfutka [58]

Answer:

It is therefore a exponential function, as y increases with x.

Step-by-step explanation:

coordinates: ( 7 , 5 ) , ( 16 , 10 )

Slope: \frac{y2-y1}{x2-x1}

         : \frac{10-5}{16-7}

         : \frac{5}{9}

equation: y - y1 = m( x - x1 )

              : y - 5 = \frac{5}{9}(x - 7)

              : y = \frac{5}{9}x+\frac{10}{9}

check if third coordinates matches:

y = \frac{5}{9}(25)+\frac{10}{9}

y = 15 ......does not match, so its not linear.

Suppose there is a deck where every card has both a single color and a single number. Suppose the colors are Red, Green, and Blu
Elza [17]

Answer:

A. <u>P = 1.7% (rounding to the next tenth) </u>

B. <u>P = 33.3% (rounding to the next tenth) </u>

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Let's review the information given to us to answer the question correctly:

Number of red cards = 20

Number of blue cards = 20

Number of green cards = 20

Total number of cards = 60

2. A. What is the probability that a randomly selected card will be Green 1?

Let's recall that the formula of the probability is:

P = Number of favorable outcomes/Total number of possible outcomes

Replacing with the value we have:

P = 1/60 = 0.017

<u>P = 1.7% (rounding to the next tenth) </u>

B. What is the probability that a randomly selected card will be red?

P = Number of favorable outcomes/Total number of possible outcomes

Replacing with the value we have:

P = 20/60 = 0.333

<u>P = 33.3% (rounding to the next tenth)</u>

Identify the expression that is equivalent by distributive property of5(2x+3)A 10x +3B 10x + 5C 10x +15
son4ous [18]
Your answer is c 10x + 15

5 time 2x is 10x plus 5 times 3 is 15 because you multiply the 5 with everything inside the parentheses. so your equarions should look like 10x + 15
