Answer:

(x_m, y_m) = (\frac{x_1+x_2}{2}, \frac{y_1+y_2}{2})

Explanation:

The Midpoint Formula does the same thing. If one X-value is at 2 and the other X-value is at 8, to find the X-value halfway between them, you add 2+8 and divide by 2 = 5. Your would repeat the process for the Y-values to find the Y-coordinate of the midpoint.

A space traveler weighs 570 n on earth. what will the traveler weigh on another planet whose radius is three times that of earth
Delvig [45]
If the mass is 3 times that of earth, then the person's weight should probably be three times their weight on earth or 1710 n as I believe weight and mass are directly related at least that is what I believe to be the case.

Read the scenario and then answer the question.

Elias is driving through the southwest part of the US on a road trip, and gets out of the car to go hiking. While hiking, he notes a very long channel running for miles in one direction. There are no distinct mountains nearby, and he is very far from the ocean. At lunch, the locals tell him there are lots of earthquakes in the area. He also thinks he sees an old road that used to cross the channel, but looks like it has been shifted apart somehow. He recalls what he learned about plate tectonics in class.

Given these clues, what type of plate boundary could Elias possibly be standing on or near?

The answer is: Transform
