- 7h + 2(-4h +5) > -4h +1 +10. Solve for h
navik [9.2K]

Hello.

-7h + 2(-4h + 5) > -4h + 1 + 10 ; solve for h

Our first step is to get rid of all the parenthesis. We can do this by simplifying everything out.

-7h - 8h + 10 > -4h + 11

Add like terms.

-15h + 10 > -4h + 11

Now, we must isolate our variables. We do this by moving all variables to one side and moving our other numbers to the other.

Subtract 10 from both sides. Then, add 4h to both sides.

-15h + 4h > 11 - 10

Simplify.

-h > 1

Divide both sides by -1.

However, keep in mind that when dividing with a negative, you must change the sign. Therefore, > turns into <

-h ÷ -1 < 1 ÷ -1

h < -1

Felice knows that segment RS || segment QT. She wants to use the definition of a parallelogram to prove that the quadrilateral i
tangare [24]

Answer:

  see below

Step-by-step explanation:

The definition of a parallelogram is that opposite sides of the quadrilateral are parallel. Felice already knows one pair of opposite sides is parallel. By showing the slope of RQ is the same as the slope of ST, she can show the other pair of opposite sides is parallel, hence the figure is a parallelogram.

The other answer choices are essentially nonsense.

Send help please!! i want to complete it asap
Nadusha1986 [10]
It’s a little complicated but here’s how it works:
Imagine a table with the intervals
0:4 , 4:6 , 6:7 , 7:10 , 10:13 (10 year intervals)
Then we have different rows
Class width: 4 , 2 , 1 , 3 , 3
Freq density: 0.2 , 0.5 , 1.2 , 0.7 , 0.3
So now calculate frequency where freq = class width * density
Freq: 0.8 , 1 , 3.6 , 2.1 , 0.9
So to find median find cumulative frequency
(Add all freq)
Cfreq = 8.4 now divide by 2 = 4.2
So find the interval where 4.2 lies.
0.8 + 1 = 1.8 + 3.6 = 5.6

So 4.2 (median) will lie in that interval 60-70 years.

What is the center and radius of the circle? *<br> x² – 2x + 5+ y² = 8
wolverine [178]

Answer: center (1;0), radius = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

x² – 2x + 5+ y² = 8

x² – 2x + 5+ y² = x² – 2x + 1 + 4 + y² = (х-1)² +4 + y²

(х-1)² +4 + y² = 8

(х-1)² + y² = 8 - 4 = 4

(х-1)² + y² = 2²

center (1;0), radius = 2

Jerome, Kevin, and Seth shared a submarine sandwich.
Elanso [62]
Seth at 1 - 1/2 - 1/3 = 1/6 of the sandwich.

Therefore the ratio is:

1/2 : 1/3 : 1/6

Multiply everything by 6:

3: 2: 1 D
