The grade that a student scores on her math test is inversely proportional to the number of hours a week that she plays video ga

mes. She scores a 73.6 on a test when she plays 10 hours of video games per week. If this relationship continues at the same rate, what score can she expect on her math test if she plays video games for only 8 hours a week?

Let her score on her math test be y and the number of hours a week that she plays video games be x,

y = k/x
73.6 = k/10
k = 736

y = 736/x
y = 736/8
y = 92

She can expect a score of 92 on her math test if she plays video games for only 8 hours a week.

Tina had d dollars. She bought three cupcakes for her and her friends, which cost c dollars each. How much money does she have l
expeople1 [14]

Answer: $(d-3c)

Step-by-step explanation:

Total amount Tina had = $d

Cost of cupcakes = $c

Number of cupcakes purchased = 3

Therefore,

Total cost of cupcakes = cost per cupcake × number of cupcakes

Total cost of cupcakes = $c × 3 = $3c

Amount left after cupcake purchase:

Total amount Tina had - total cost of cupcakes :

$d - $3c

Triangles plz help me
klasskru [66]

Given:

In \Delta ACR, AC=19, CR=13, AR=12.

To find:

The list of angles in order from least to greatest.

Solution:

In a triangle, the sides of triangles are completely depend on the interior of the triangle. In the triangle, the longest side has the largest opposite angle and the shortest side has the smallest opposite angle.

Arrange the sides of the triangle ACR in ascending order.

12

AR

It means the order of the opposite angles to sides is:

\angle C

Therefore, the list of angles in order from least to greatest is \angle C,\angle A,\angle R.

A segment in the complex plane has a midpoint at 3 – 2i. If one endpoint of the segment is at 7 + i, what is the other endpoint?
Sav [38]
Well, we know the midpoint is 3 - 2i.. well, skipping for a second the 'i', is just (3, - 2) then

one endpoint is at 7 + i, or 7 + 1i or , ( 7, 1)

let's say the other endpoint is at x,y

\bf \textit{middle point of 2 points }\\ \quad \\
\begin{array}{lllll}
&x_1&y_1&x_2&y_2\\
%  (a,b)
&({{ 7}}\quad ,&{{ 1}})\quad
%  (c,d)
&({{ x}}\quad ,&{{ y}})
\end{array}\qquad
%   coordinates of midpoint
\left(\cfrac{{{ x_2}} + {{ x_1}}}{2}\quad ,\quad \cfrac{{{ y_2}} + {{ y_1}}}{2} \right)
\\\\\\
\left(\cfrac{{{ x}} + {{ 7}}}{2}\quad ,\quad \cfrac{{{ y}} + {{ 1}}}{2} \right)=(3,-2)\implies
\begin{cases}
\frac{x+7}{2}=3\\
x+7=6\\
x=6-7\\
------\\
\frac{y+1}{2}=-2\\
y+1=-4\\
y=-4-1
\end{cases}

so, x = -1 and y = -5, that gives us ( -1, -5)   or   -1 - 5i on the imaginary grid
