FiRsT PaRt of The QuEsTiOn:

The Risks of Modern agricultural practices are-
contributes to a number larger of environmental issues that cause environmental degradation including: climate change, deforestation, biodiversity loss, dead zones, genetic engineering, irrigation problems, pollutants, soil degradation, and waste.

The benefits of Modern Agricultural practices are-
An increase in yield of primary crops and lower food prices is as the result of modern technology like new crop varieties, the use of big data and precision agriculture.

Modern machinery like tractors and threshers when used up in farming make ploughing and harvesting faster.

SeCoNd PaRt Of ThE QuEsTioN:

No, I don't think the Benefits outweigh the RISKS of hurting the nature because we are compromising the needs of the future for more yield of crops. Modern practices may give you faster results but it takes away the fertility of the soil instead, It makes the land infertile. After using these modern practices you may not even have the land to do agriculture with.
