Mathematics
1 answer:
Vladimir79 [104]3 years ago
4 0

Answer:

Just multiply the number of weeks by 10

Step-by-step explanation

The current integer is 10/1 for 10 dollars made every 1 week.

So, if two weeks pass by, the integer will be 20/2 for 20 dollars made every

week.

If you continue this process by multiplying by 10, you'll get your chart.

An archaeologist locates a fossil of an early human skeleton. To determine the age of the fossil, the archaeologist utilizes a
Pani-rosa [81]

Answer:

15549 yrs old

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the decay constant r we use the formula

t1/2 = 0.693/r

t1/2 is the half-life 5700

5700 = 0.693/r

r = 0.693/5700 = 0.000122 per sec

For the 15% remaining from an initial value of 100%, time t is calculated from

N = Noe^(-rt)

0.15 = 1e^(-0.000122t)

we take natural log of both sides

Ln 0.15 = Ln e^(-0.000122t)

-1.897 = -0.000122t

t = -1.897/-0.000122 = 15549.18 yrs

Approximately 15549 yrs old

In looking at it I would guess it is asking which of the points is on the line? To answer that you would have to take each point an plug it into the equation and see if it is true.

3x - 7 = y

A(9,20)
3(9) - 7 = 20
27 - 7 = 20
20 = 20 True - this point is on the line

B(5,0)
3(5) - 7 = 0
15 - 7 = 0
8 = 0 False - this point is not on the line

C(3,2)
3(3) - 7 = 2
9 - 7 = 2
2 = 2  True - this point is on the line

I hope this helps
