I think your answers are:
y = - x - 9
y = - \frac{x}{3} + \frac{five}{two}

Y = -x - 9

-x -2(-x-9)=-5

-x +2x + 18 = -5
x + 18= -5
x= -23
-23+ y = -9
y= 14

On a compass, due east is a 1/4 turn clockwise from due north. How many degrees are in a 1/4 turn?
vladimir2022 [97]

Answer:

90^o

Step-by-step explanation:

We have been given that on a compass, due east is a 1/4 turn clockwise from due north.

Since we know that a compass is in form of a circle and the measure of degrees in a circle is 360 degrees.

To find the number of degrees in a one-fourth turn, we will divide 360 by 4.

\text{Number of degrees in a 1/4 turn of compass}=\frac{360^o}{4}

\text{Number of degrees in a 1/4 turn of compass}=90^o

Therefore, there are 90 degrees in a 1/4 turn of compass.
